Being a single cosmetology student.

It’s incredibly depressing. My chances of meeting anyone who fits my criteria are very slim. Sure, I have a life beyond the walls of Toni & Guy… but lets face it, I’m there for nine hours and in order to function, how would I even have time for anyone? My schedule consists of school (7:30AM-4:15PM) if I’m working at FYE I go to Planet Fitness right from school and leave at just about 5:15PM, go home quick, then go to FYE until 9:30. If I’m working at Payless I skip the gym, and go to work for 5:15… selling shoes until 8:15. When, and how could I meet someone intellectually stimulating?

I think I need to leave Rhode Island. Yes, I meet new people every day, and people everywhere are all the same but realistically once school is over… what will keep me here? There are no strings attached. No reason for me to continue on in the smallest ignorant state in the United States. The thought of leaving this place behind happens to be one of the greatest things that I look forward to. The idea or starting over, fresh and completely alone is enthralling and I feel that I might need to do it for myself. I can always come back… if I want to.
